my father passed away this morning aged 90 , had a stroke 2 weeks ago.

combined with my uncle passing away earlier as well , aged 94.

neither used a walking stick or any form of mobility aid , neither set foot in an aged care home , neither had any form of memory loss.

I firmly believe that anyone who made it into their 90’s before passing away does not need to be mourned, but celebrated. Raise a glass of your drink of choice to these two old chaps and hope that with the wisdom they they passed on to you over the years, and a little bit of luck, someday you’ll make it into your 90’s as well.
